Among our group of friends we are experiencing a baby boom! This has led to a bit of curiosity on the part of Turkey-man. At three years old, obviously his understanding on how babies come to be is a bit limited. (Thankfully!!)

We were discussing the influx and I was explaining that the brother that his friend was about to have was still growing in their mommy’s belly. This led to the natural question “I grew in your belly?”

I explained that my belly was broken so God had him grow in Mama-A’s belly instead.

He turned to me with all of his little boy wisdom and said, “Mama-A ate me?!”

Yeah, all bits of any seriousness on my part dissolved in tears of laughter! I considered agreeing with his assessment… anything to delay “THE Talk!”
